A Cosmetic Group is looking for its Global Visual Merchandising Director in New York City. A role that will take place in an international environment and will require strong management & relational skills, autonomy and agility.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
The Global Director of Merchandising is responsible for bringing concepts and solutions to drive sales, brands awareness, and excitement. You will be part of a moving and creative environment and will interact with cross-functional partners to ensure that brands visual standards are continuously elevated.
This position includes, the following responsibilities:
_ Build & drive 360° merchandising In-store projects, from concept to implementation guidelines with a team
_ Support Design and deliver temporary and permanent in-Store materials and provide guidelines
_ Lead the collaboration with marketing & creative departments to deliver consistent brief to design agencies
_ Transform a creative concept into technical briefs for global or local production & procurement purposes, to ensure quality excellence
_ Manage the projects, ensure deadlines, budget, delivery and implementation of the assets developed in collaboration with the Go-To-Market team
_ Create and draw-up the merchandising guidelines to ensure constant optimisation of work tools, processes and communication
_ Coach and train Go-To-Markets and/or local affiliate staff during annual merchandising seminars or market visits
Profil
EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
_ Strong merchandising and business backgrounds, international scope
_10 to 15 years visual merchandising experience within luxury houses
_ Cosmetics field knowledge is mandatory
_ You are a creative thinker, detailed oriented with an eye for design
_ Strong leadership & communication skills
_ Agility, power of persuasion and technical knowledge to read and support creative solutions while remaining flexible
_ Excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy
EDUCATION
Business School degree and/or University Graduate and /or BA in Visual Design, Merchandising, Fine Arts, Interior Design
This position is based in New York (USA)
